On May 4, 2023, the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Programme (PEI PNP) held its seventh invitation round of the year. The schedule for the PEI PNP draw for 2023 is consistent with this draw.

On May 4th, PEI PNP draws, no invites for Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs were sent out.

Who was invited to the PEI Latest Draw? 122 invites for Express Entry and labour.

The Prince Edward Island PNP has invited applicants for business work permits and entrepreneurs 98 times in the past year while inviting applicants for labour and express entry 2,130 times.

Entrepreneur invitations for a business work permit over the previous 12 months: 4%

Invitations to work and Express Entry over the last 12 months: 96% 

 

Prince Edward Island continues to hold draws with higher ITAs and lower CRS scores as evidenced by this most recent PEI PNP draw. Given the dates of the year's future drawings, it is obvious that the province hopes to expand the number of candidates who are eligible to obtain a nomination under the PEI PNP-managed streams.
